McAllen Independent School District (ISD) is actively seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team for an exciting $335 million bond initiative. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of the bond project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Collaborate with district administrators, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with district goals.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Prepare and present project updates to the school board and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Facilitate communication among all project participants to foster collaboration and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the education or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and building codes.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
