Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Python File I/O codebase to support integration with leading PCB CAD tools such as Altium, Cadence Allegro, and Siemens Xpedition.
• Design, parse, translate, and generate complex CAD formats, ensuring quality and efficiency in data handling.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to understand requirements and create solutions that enhance PCB design automation.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development, focusing on maintainability and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning as they pertain to PCB design and propose innovative solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging activities to resolve issues in CAD format handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software development with proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with PCB design processes and CAD tools is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts and their application in software development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
