Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate efficient project workflows.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and reports to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Engage with local communities to promote Habitat for Humanity’s mission and encourage volunteer participation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations, as well as safety standards.
• Ability to work in varying conditions and perform physical tasks associated with construction work.
• A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
