The Center for Career Development is excited to announce the launch of its new Virtual Career Center and Internship Gateway. In this role, you will assist students and alumni in navigating our online platform to find, apply for, and secure job and internship opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and support for users as they explore career paths.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of virtual workshops and webinars focused on job search strategies.
- Facilitating connections between students and industry professionals through online networking events.
- Maintaining up-to-date job and internship listings on the platform.
- Gathering user feedback to continually improve the Virtual Career Center experience.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., career counseling, human resources, education).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse student population.
- Proficiency in using online platforms and tools for career development.
- Experience in career counseling or related roles is preferred, but not mandatory.
- A passion for helping others succeed in their career journeys.
