Responsibilities

• Develop and implement career development programs aimed at enhancing student employability.
• Provide one-on-one career counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in identifying their career goals and job search strategies.
• Organize workshops and seminars on various topics including resume writing, interview preparation, and networking skills.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development resources into the academic curriculum.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local employers to facilitate internship and job placement opportunities for students.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of career services initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
• Utilize data and metrics to evaluate student outcomes and report findings to university stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in career counseling, coaching, or a similar role within a higher education setting.
• Strong understanding of job market trends and employer expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.
• Experience in developing training materials and conducting workshops.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using career services software and online job databases.
