Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Defined Benefit (DB) pensions to join our dynamic project management team. This role offers the chance to lead and deliver a range of client-facing and internal pension change projects, working with medium to large pension schemes across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of projects, including GMP equalisation, Buy-in/Buy-out readiness, benefits rectification, mergers, and wind-ups.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple lines of business and external partners, including clients, administrators, and actuaries.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of pension change initiatives.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and drive project objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in pension projects or actuarial project environments.
  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pensions and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-driven.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders at all levels.
