Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Royalston Selectboard.
- Coordinate and manage schedules for meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the Selectboard and the community, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Manage correspondence and communications, ensuring timely responses.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Maintain organized records and filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Support budgeting and financial tracking processes.
- Participate in various community events and represent the Selectboard as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in other administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of local government operations and community engagement is a plus.
- A degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
