Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager at 1KOMMA5°, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the energy market by driving the development and implementation of smart metering and distributed energy resource steering solutions. You will manage the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including software engineering, data science, and regional partners. Your focus will be on creating intelligent, integrated systems that optimize the use of renewable energy sources in low-voltage grids. This involves overseeing real-time, fully automated energy management solutions connected directly to electricity markets.

You will be responsible for defining product vision and strategy, aligning it with the company’s goal to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energy by 2030. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to ensure product relevance and compliance. Strong stakeholder engagement will be essential, including working with regional craftsmen and partners to scale solutions effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product management within the energy sector, particularly with smart metering, energy steering, or distributed energy resources.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage grid flexibilities and renewable energy integration.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
