Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee supported internship programs that create pathways to employment for graduates.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to identify internship opportunities and foster partnerships.
  • Provide guidance and support to interns, ensuring a positive experience that promotes skill development and career readiness.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of participants.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance interns' professional skills, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of intern progress and program outcomes, reporting regularly to stakeholders.
  • Assist in marketing the internship program to potential candidates and employers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, or related field.
  • Experience in program coordination, preferably in workforce development or education sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and facilitating their journey to employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management systems.
