Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain core components of cloud synchronization services that transform and synchronize complex engineering data into the iTwin platform. Your work will involve building scalable and reliable distributed systems using microservices, containerized workloads, and event-driven architectures. You will be actively involved in developing workflow orchestration mechanisms to handle state-driven execution, retries, and long-running tasks. Collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers, you will contribute to architectural decisions and deliver production-grade solutions that meet stringent performance, scalability, and reliability requirements for global multi-tenant environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and developing cloud-native distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or similar.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, workflow orchestration, and handling large-scale engineering or technical data.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or office-based environment in Vilnius or Kaunas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability and performance optimization.
