Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, timelines, selection criteria, and structured interview plans.
  • Lead intake meetings to align recruitment strategies with business objectives for early careers.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top early-stage talent through university partnerships and campus recruitment programs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain compliance with Canadian and US hiring regulations and company policies.
  • Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders on hiring progress and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities and colleges to enhance our employer branding and recruitment efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably with a focus on early careers or university recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and hiring managers effectively.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and US employment laws is a plus.
