Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for health plan risk and quality reporting activities.
• Design and develop custom health plan reports to facilitate local interventions and provider outreach.
• Educate users on utilizing reports related to risk and quality metrics, including Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) for Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace plans.
• Assist in the research, development, and completion of special quality performance improvement projects, including root-cause analysis.
• Document health plan quality reporting requirements and build tailored reports.
• Create intervention strategy reporting to measure gap closure in risk and quality interventions.
• Generate ad hoc quality reports as needed to monitor HEDIS performance and supplemental data.
• Develop quality assurance (QA) custom health plan reports related to Risk and Quality/HEDIS for various health plans.
• Prepare custom health plan reports concerning managed care data, including medical claims and pharmacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in healthcare analytics or reporting, preferably within a health plan environment.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with HEDIS and other healthcare quality metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and assist users.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
