Job Overview

We are seeking experienced AHPRA-registered doctors to join our innovative telehealth team as independent contractors. This fully remote position is based in Tasmania and is designed for doctors who can dedicate approximately 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule that accommodates your existing commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telehealth consultations to a diverse range of patients, including those under the age of 25.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and manage prescriptions (S4 & S8) as needed.
• Coordinate follow-up consultations to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Collaborate effectively with our nursing and doctor support teams to streamline patient care processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices and telehealth regulations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to enhance the patient experience.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients from various backgrounds and age groups.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a telehealth environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms.
