Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality telehealth consultations for a diverse patient population.
- Be familiar with and adhere to prescribing regulations in Western Australia.
- Manage clinical assessments and provide prescriptions (Schedule 4 & Schedule 8) as necessary.
- Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other doctors to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with telehealth standards.
- Be available to work flexible hours, ideally between 3 PM and 9 PM WA time, to meet patient demand.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner in Australia.
- Proven experience in clinical practice, preferably in a telehealth setting.
- Strong understanding of prescribing medications, including Schedule 8 medications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
- Ability to manage a diverse range of health presentations across all age groups.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in using telehealth technology and electronic health records.
