Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform Engineering team to design, develop, and optimize the payment infrastructure that supports our global operations.
• Drive the implementation of AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance software quality and deployment efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
• Oversee the management of mission-critical infrastructure across multiple regions including LatAm, Africa, and Asia.
• Establish and enforce best practices for software development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with system performance and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and provide guidance to engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and emerging markets to keep our solutions competitive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of financial technology, payment systems, and regulatory environments in emerging markets.
• Experience with AI tools and techniques in software development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
