Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of full-stack engineers to develop and maintain the notifications platform.
• Oversee the architecture and deployment of Elixir services and Python backends to optimize notification delivery.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to enhance user engagement through innovative notification solutions.
• Ensure high availability and performance of business-critical systems serving hundreds of millions of users.
• Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and growth within the engineering team.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to drive improvements in notification features and user experience.
• Report progress and challenges to the Senior Engineering Manager, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Proficient in Elixir and Python; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming community's needs.
