Responsibilities

• Oversee all drone operations at Universal Orlando Resort, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
• Manage a team of drone operators, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate drone technology into resort activities and events.
• Develop and implement operational protocols to ensure efficient and safe drone usage.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of drone equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drone industry trends, technologies, and regulations to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Prepare reports on drone operations, performance metrics, and incident documentation as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drone operations or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of drone technology, FAA regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
