Responsibilities

• Participate in the construction and renovation of New Baptist Hospital, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor worksite safety and compliance with regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
• Assist in the training of new employees and tradespersons, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of materials and work quality, ensuring that standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report progress to supervisors, identifying any issues that may impact the project schedule or budget.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in construction or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in construction, with a strong understanding of building processes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
