Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Scale and Enterprise Solutions Architects to drive growth initiatives.
• Build a high-performing pre-sales technical team that evaluates customer applications for suitability with Temporal’s platform.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical expertise and customer engagement skills.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to align strategies and drive successful implementations.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive solutions architecture strategy that supports business growth.
• Identify and leverage industry trends to create innovative solutions that improve the developer experience.
• Engage with customers and prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored guidance on our platform.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the solutions architecture team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture or related technical role, with a focus on growth strategies.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing technical teams in a pre-sales environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, application development, and open-source software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
