Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with third-party maintenance vendors to ensure quality service across our portfolio of single-family rental homes.
  • Evaluate vendor performance regularly, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify vendor needs and allocate resources effectively to meet operational requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure competitive rates while maintaining service quality.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring they understand our policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any issues that arise between vendors and property managers, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends to inform vendor selection and management strategies.
  • Provide training and support to vendors to align their services with our company’s objectives and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management or procurement, preferably in property management or real estate.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that drive vendor performance and satisfaction.
  • Proficient in using technology and software related to vendor management and property operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
