Job Summary

The Principal Machine Learning Engineer will tackle challenging problems and create scalable machine learning systems and platforms that significantly impact millions of users. This role involves close collaboration with business partners to deliver machine intelligence-driven solutions that enhance the customer experience and automate core business processes. Additionally, the engineer will work alongside Data Scientists, Applied Scientists, and Software Developers to ensure predictive models deliver tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Platform team to exchange best practices and insights.
• Adopt established patterns and develop effective abstractions across various machine learning pipelines, simplifying existing processes and accelerating the modeling workflow from inception to production deployment.
• Develop horizontal solutions to robustly scale the team's machine learning models and processes.
• Create software using Object-oriented Design Patterns and Analysis (OOA and OOD), focusing on minimizing technical debt and maintaining high service availability.
• Engage in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence to continuously enhance the team's capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role with a strong background in developing machine learning models.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
