Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements related to SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, including HIPAA assessments.
• Provide auditing services for security, compliance, and attestation.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements, ensuring adherence to established frameworks and standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing audit findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to cybersecurity and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Information Security, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or related fields, with a strong focus on SOC 2.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Proficient in audit methodologies and tools, with experience in leading audit engagements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
