We focus on building AI-native security tools, embedding security practices into the development lifecycle, and ensuring that our small, highly capable team can effectively manage our security needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Application Security team, fostering a culture of security-first thinking.
• Develop and implement security strategies aimed at protecting our applications and data.
• Oversee the integration of security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring security is a fundamental part of our engineering processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks in applications and infrastructure.
• Design and build tools that enhance the security posture of our applications through automation and AI.
• Conduct security assessments and code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, applying them to improve our security framework.
• Mentor and guide team members, helping them grow in their roles and enhance their skills in application security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application security engineering, with a focus on securing web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience leading and managing technical teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
