Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our Connect API to ensure seamless integration with over 1000 devices across various brands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance the performance and usability of our platform.
• Implement optimization tools that empower energy companies to manage devices effectively and efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability, while also mentoring junior engineers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to technical challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve our technology stack and processes.
• Contribute to the overall architectural decisions of the platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the energy or technology sector.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud services and platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in the energy space.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication abilities.
