Responsibilities

• End-to-End ML Ownership: Lead the development of machine learning capabilities, including forecasting, recommendation, ranking, optimization, and decision intelligence, for our customer-facing SaaS products.
• Pipeline & Model Development: Create reliable data and feature pipelines in conjunction with machine learning models, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
• Product Mindset: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into actionable machine learning solutions that drive product success.
• Experimentation & Measurement: Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance, and implement mechanisms for ongoing measurement and iteration.
• Scalability & Usability: Ensure that models are not only accurate but also scalable, explainable, and valuable within real-world applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in applied data science or machine learning engineering, with a solid portfolio of projects showcasing end-to-end model development.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, and experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data engineering practices, including ETL processes and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to drive projects to completion.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
