Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of Legion’s Workforce Management platform, ensuring robust design and execution.
• Develop and implement high-consequence architectural decisions that align with business objectives and product strategies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to write and review technical designs, and provide hands-on guidance in code development.
• Oversee the integration of AI, optimization, forecasting, and scheduling functionalities into the platform.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of production systems, focusing on enterprise-level compliance and developer productivity.
• Continuously evaluate and challenge existing assumptions to foster innovation and improve system performance.
• Mentor engineering staff, enhancing their technical skills and fostering a culture of excellence in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on architecture and system design.
• Proven experience building and scaling mission-critical software for large enterprise customers.
• Deep technical knowledge and credibility, with the ability to engage effectively with senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data platforms, real-time decision-making, and security protocols.
