About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Product Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in the Product Data Science organization. Your primary responsibility will be to build and scale a high-performing team of Analysts and Data Scientists who are integrated within various Product domains. This position requires a strategic leader who is not only focused on delivering impactful results through your team but also on enhancing the overall analytical and technical standards of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Data Scientists and Analysts to drive data-driven decision-making across product initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and define analytical frameworks.
• Establish best practices in data science, experimentation, and product analytics to ensure consistent application across teams.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to derive insights from complex data sets.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and strategy.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role in product development.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
• Experience with A/B testing, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques is preferred.
