About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Electrician Career Coach to join our innovative online education platform. In this role, you will support students in their journey to becoming skilled electricians through live workshops and optional one-on-one coaching sessions. This position is ideal for seasoned electricians who have a passion for mentoring and want to help aspiring professionals transition into the trade.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live, one-hour workshop sessions focused on essential skills and knowledge for future electricians.
• Provide guidance and support to students during workshops, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the material.
• Offer optional one-on-one coaching sessions to students who wish to delve deeper into specific topics or seek personalized guidance.
• Engage with students in a seminar-style format, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist students in their transition from learning to practical application, bridging the gap between coursework and employment.
• Promote your coaching services to students, allowing for the potential of additional income based on your performance and student interest.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of the trade.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage flexible hours effectively.
• A passion for helping others succeed in their careers.
• Comfortable using virtual conferencing tools for online workshops and coaching sessions.
