About the Role

The Senior Reviewer for Code & Web Templates plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for Envato’s extensive range of code and web template offerings. This includes Web Themes & UI Templates, Template Kits, WordPress, WordPress Plugins, Scripts, Plugins, and Code assets. In this position, you will assess submissions, provide detailed feedback, and maintain a high standard of quality that aligns with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate code submissions and web templates for quality, functionality, and adherence to guidelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to authors and contributors, guiding them to improve their submissions.
• Collaborate with the product development team to enhance existing templates and create new quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits of existing code and web templates to ensure they meet current standards and performance metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving QA processes and team efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in code review, quality assurance, or a related position.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with PHP.
• Experience with WordPress and its ecosystem, including themes and plugins.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
