Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
  • Implement and enhance security best practices across cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead initiatives to assess and improve the security posture of cloud-based applications and systems.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Participate in incident response planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience with cloud security frameworks and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Experience with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
