Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for our observability platform.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing server-side logic.
• Implement automated testing and continuous integration to maintain code quality.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure seamless user experience.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the technical direction of the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in backend development, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
