Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs that engage youth in climate action initiatives across Africa.
• Collaborate with local and international partners to enhance the reach and impact of climate-related projects.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops aimed at empowering young leaders in environmental sustainability.
• Conduct research on climate issues affecting African youth and propose innovative solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure effectiveness and make improvements as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on project progress.
• Contribute to the organization’s social media presence and public outreach strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, social science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in program management or project coordination, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of climate change issues and their impact on youth in Africa.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize young people.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Passion for environmental advocacy and a commitment to fostering sustainable practices.
