Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and management of HackerOne's community engagement initiatives.
• Foster relationships with security researchers and industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and implement programs that promote community participation and drive engagement within the cybersecurity field.
• Oversee the creation of educational resources and events aimed at empowering community members and enhancing their skills.
• Measure and analyze community engagement metrics to inform strategies and improve outreach efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align community initiatives with business objectives.
• Act as a spokesperson for HackerOne, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging threats to position HackerOne as a thought leader in cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in community engagement, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with a history of successfully managing teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and current trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Experience in developing and executing community programs that drive engagement and collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
