Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the shipyard expansion project from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth operations.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, addressing issues and proposing solutions as necessary.
• Oversee the procurement process for materials and equipment needed for the expansion.
• Monitor project progress, conducting regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing shipyard or marine construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed to project sites.
