About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solidity Compiler Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team focused on developing advanced blockchain compiler infrastructure and formal verification tools. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the frontend components of Solidity compilation pipelines, specifically targeting static analysis, type checking, and seamless integration with formal verification systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement frontend components for the Solidity compiler, including lexical analysis, parsing, Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) generation, and semantic analysis.
• Optimize compiler performance and enhance error reporting and diagnostics to improve developer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend solutions with backend infrastructure and formal verification frameworks.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of compiler features to ensure reliability and correctness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in blockchain technology and compiler design to continuously improve our tools.
• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in compiler development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing compiler frontends or similar tools, preferably with Solidity or other programming languages.
• Strong understanding of compiler design principles, static analysis techniques, and type systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, or Rust.
