About the Role

As a Director Analyst specializing in Direct Spend Procurement Technology, you will be at the forefront of providing strategic insights and solutions to our diverse clientele. Your role will involve leveraging your extensive research and analytical skills to generate impactful insights that guide organizations in optimizing their procurement strategies. You will engage directly with clients through various mediums, including in-person meetings and virtual consultations, to address their unique challenges and provide tailored recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on procurement technologies and trends, including source-to-pay suites, procure-to-pay suites, and supplier risk management.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to clients, helping them navigate complex procurement decisions.
• Engage with clients regularly to discuss their challenges and offer expert advice on procurement technology selection and implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop thought leadership content that showcases industry trends and best practices.
• Participate in Gartner conferences and events to represent the organization and share knowledge with a broader audience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to reinforce Gartner’s value proposition.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement technology or a related field, with a strong understanding of direct spend management.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting findings to executive-level stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills.
• Experience in client engagement and providing strategic advice in a consulting capacity is preferred.
• Advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is highly desirable.
