As a Demo Engineer, you will play a vital role in bridging our go-to-market strategy and product development. This position is essential in accelerating Okta's technical sales success by providing our internal and partner technical sellers with the tools and capabilities to effectively demonstrate how Okta secures identity for employees, customers, and AI agents. Your work will have a global impact, shaping the demo components and customer experiences used by Solution Engineers across various countries, reaching thousands of customers and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality demo environments that showcase Okta’s identity security solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure the demos reflect the latest features and functionalities.
• Work closely with sales teams to understand their needs and tailor demos accordingly.
• Provide training and support to internal and partner technical sellers on demo best practices.
• Gather feedback from users to continuously improve demo effectiveness and user engagement.
• Stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure Okta remains at the forefront of identity security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software engineering, preferably in a demo or technical sales environment.
• Strong understanding of identity management and security practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages and development tools.
