Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate character mascots, including idle loops, reactions, and win celebrations that feel vibrant and premium.
• Create hero-section animations that integrate characters with animated environments, such as coins, slot machines, and special effects.
• Utilize Rive to rig animations with state machines, ensuring real-time reactions to product events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align animation styles and ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
• Maintain a high production cadence while ensuring the quality of animations meets our 'wow' standards.
• Mentor junior animators and lead a small animation pod as the team scales.
• Stay updated with industry trends and animation techniques to continuously enhance your skills and the team's output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a character and motion animator, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industries.
• Strong proficiency in animation software, particularly Rive, and a solid understanding of animation principles.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of animated works, particularly character animations.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for creative storytelling and a keen eye for aesthetics.
