Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Engineering team and oversee the implementation of security initiatives across various engineering and operational programs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of development and deployment.
• Develop and maintain security frameworks and policies that align with the company's goals and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.
• Provide leadership during security incidents and lead post-incident reviews to improve processes and security measures.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance Auctane's security posture.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering or related roles, with a focus on software development environments.
• Proven track record of leading security programs and managing cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of application security, network security, and cloud security practices.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
