Responsibilities

• Draft and revise commercial contracts, policies, and other legal documents to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Protect and register intellectual property rights to safeguard company innovations.
• Ensure legal compliance across various sectors, including data protection, marketing, payments, and consumer rights.
• Provide legal support, research, and consultation on day-to-day operations to facilitate smooth business functioning.
• Analyze and mitigate potential legal risks associated with business operations.
• Work with financial institutions to manage account opening, KYC, and compliance procedures.
• Liaise with law firms and service providers across different jurisdictions to ensure effective legal representation.
• Assist with potential legal disputes, providing strategic guidance and support.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience in a legal counsel role or similar, preferably within the technology or creative industries.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property law, data protection regulations, and commercial contracts.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
