Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
• Manage day-to-day compliance controls and ensure adherence to regulations such as SOC 2 and MiCA.
• Coordinate the application and renewal processes for Money Transmitter Licenses across various U.S. jurisdictions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with crypto payments.
• Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the organization through training and communication initiatives.
• Support audits and assessments conducted by external parties, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence is prepared and available.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a compliance or risk management role, ideally within the financial services or fintech sectors.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to cryptocurrency and digital assets.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to operational processes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate compliance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with GRC tools and software is a plus.
