Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth investigations into complex financial crimes, including fraud and money laundering, pertaining to business banking clients.
• Analyze transaction data and customer information to identify suspicious activities and assess potential risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather evidence and build cases against fraudulent activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support investigations and present findings to senior management.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance and enhance investigation processes.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of vigilance and proactive fraud prevention.
• Engage with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as needed to assist in the prosecution of financial crimes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial crime investigation, risk management, or compliance within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and investigative software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
