Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in Brazilian law and ethics, focusing on the social media landscape.

• Review and analyze complex legal documents and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Engage in ongoing research to stay updated on changes in legal standards and ethical practices in Brazil.
• Assist in the creation of training materials and resources that align with legal and ethical standards.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions to team members and stakeholders on relevant legal and ethical issues.

Requirements

• PhD in Law, Ethics, or a related field with a focus on Brazilian regulations.
• Proven experience as a subject matter expert in law and ethics, preferably within the social media sector.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with an ability to interpret complex legal texts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their ethical implications is a plus.
