About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Software Engineer to join our Security team, focusing on our Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy. This role will involve working across both corporate and production environments, ensuring robust security measures are in place. You'll have the opportunity to define IAM architecture from the ground up, migrate Okta fully behind Terraform, and serve as the subject matter expert to enhance our organization's IAM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the IAM strategy for Vercel, focusing on both corporate and production environments.
• Migrate existing IAM solutions to Terraform, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture of the company.
• Provide expertise and training on IAM best practices to elevate the organization's understanding and execution of security measures.
• Continuously monitor IAM systems for vulnerabilities and implement necessary improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential security risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in security software engineering, with a focus on IAM.
• Strong knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Okta and Terraform is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
