Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex customer-facing projects related to Ubuntu embedded systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between Canonical's engineering teams and customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing risks.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and updates, providing stakeholders with insights into project status and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management.
• Support customer engagement initiatives, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in embedded systems or software development.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in open source software development is highly desirable.
