Job Summary and Purpose

The Senior Operations Specialist harnesses expertise to plan and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of study delivery to sponsors. This role involves the development and implementation of processes, change management plans, and operational standards to achieve excellence across the organization, in collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders. The Senior Operations Specialist will support various activities within the Business & Operational Excellence group, executing functional priorities with minimal supervision.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the vision and commitment to continuous improvement in operational excellence across all activities.
• Lead the evaluation of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for enhancement or automation under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Collaborate with stakeholders using root-cause problem-solving techniques to pinpoint core process challenges.
• Develop and implement training content to enhance team capabilities.
• Facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Engage in strategic planning sessions to align operational goals with broader organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
