Responsibilities

• Authenticate product listings by reviewing and verifying designer apparel and footwear before they are made available for sale.
• Identify and remove unsafe or non-compliant listings that do not meet marketplace standards.
• Ensure that all listings are accurately described in terms of size, condition, accessories, colorway, and release information.
• Detect inconsistencies, manipulated images, or inaccurate product details during the authentication process.
• Respond to community and marketing inquiries regarding item moderation and verification.
• Analyze authentication defect reports to understand the types of inauthentic items that have previously passed through the authentication process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in product listings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with designer brands and a passion for fashion is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate product authenticity and address any issues that arise.
• Willingness to stay updated on current trends and methods in designer authentication.
