About the Role

Updater is seeking an ambitious, strategic, and results-driven leader to spearhead our corporate development and growth agenda. In this role, you will source and evaluate opportunities that fuel Updater’s next stage of growth, including acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and initiatives that expand or enhance existing business lines. You will own the assessment of the market and competitive landscape across priority verticals, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to support Updater's growth strategy.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
• Lead negotiations and manage the integration of acquisitions to ensure alignment with Updater’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to assess and execute growth initiatives.
• Develop presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
• Monitor industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and threats in the market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Proven track record of executing successful mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in the technology or SaaS industry is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
