About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in modernizing, scaling, and operating our shared cloud infrastructure, which is vital for powering YipitData's data-intensive products and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust cloud solutions that enhance our engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support data-intensive applications.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud-based systems.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our cloud architecture.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in cloud technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
