Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in colocation and data center environments.
- Manage network hardware deployments in colocation facilities, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Configure and support Meraki-based networking solutions for corporate offices.
- Implement and maintain VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 data center network infrastructures.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS for enterprise connectivity.
- Collaborate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Card Networks to maintain network efficiency.
- Identify and propose solutions for ambiguous, open-ended problems independently.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve quarterly goals and project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Meraki networking solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
